________________________________

GCHNA consists of approximately 230 member households in a geographic area of 467 improved parcels. As a group, we entertain several topics relevant to our community.

Fire preparedness is high on the list and GCHNA has been recognized as an active Firewise Community since 2012 by the Firewise USA program. We work with our local partner, the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County, to fulfill their mission to help all homeowners in Nevada County “prepare for and survive the next catastrophic wildfire in a truly public-private partnership.”

We encourage you to share your ideas and perspective on how we can utilize our collective involvement for the greater good of our community.  There are many opportunities for all of us to participate, and just a little bit goes a long way.

Reach out to your neighborhood representative to discuss how you can Get Involved!
